Have you ever gone to Disney and had such a great time that you wished you could live there?
Well, now you basically can.
Golden Oak is located within Walt Disney World Resort, only four miles away from the Magic Kingdom and built within a 980-acre nature conservation area.
Golden Oak currently features five neighborhoods, with most sold out in the original three, although there are some resale opportunities. Several new custom-designed homes starting at $2 million are available in the newest neighborhood, Marceline, named after the Missouri town in which Walt Disney spent part of his childhood. Across all of Golden Oak, home sizes range from 3,000 to 12,000 square feet. It’s estimated that Golden Oak will eventually have 285 homes.
Each Marceline home is located on a quarter-acre of land and ranges from 3,800 to 7,000 square feet. The neighborhood has greenscapes to one side, with water and nature preserves on the other.
The homes are inspired by Mediterranean, Caribbean, Venetian, Dutch, and Tuscan styles.
Golden Oak blends the residential area with a commercial area that includes the 443-room Four Seasons Resort, restaurants, and the Summerhouse, a 17,000 square foot private recreational clubhouse for residents.
As a resident of Golden Oak, you get certain benefits from Disney such as merchandise delivery, assistance with dining reservations, transportation to and from the parks and Extra Magic Hours where you’ll be able to get into one park each day an hour before it opens and stay two hours after closing.
If that isn’t enough Disney for you, Golden Oak is home to bronze statues of classic Disney characters such as Bambi, Thumper and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
